About the position
Experience building an inside sales team, implementing training programs, and proactively providing coaching and feedback on a daily basis to the team is a must. Creativity in retaining and motivating inside sales team members will be critical to your success. Enthusiastic Evernote users only please!
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prospect new clients and respond to inbound customer requests.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline; own sales cycle from lead to close.
  • Educate business customers about the value of Evernote with a mix of product demos, technical answers, and insightful product recommendations.
  • Secure long-term Evernote clients by ensuring that there is a strong fit between Evernote's capabilities and the needs of the customer.
  • Direct and manage day to day sales team activities to meet aggressive sales targets
  • Assess and provide feedback and action plans for continuous improvement based on sales process metrics covering lead generation through qualification and on to close
  • Develop scalable sales operations processes such as lead prioritization filters, common talking points, key buying persona profiles, common customer threads by industry, and successful buyer education strategies and techniques
  • Work with Marketing to continuously evaluate existing lead generation processes and develop new ones
 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • You should have 1-3 years experience in a sales leadership position in the tech industry or 3-5 years experience as a senior rep with the ability and ambition to take on more responsibility.
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken Japanese
  • Strong familiarity with the Evernote product and confidence in ability to explain feature functionality, scenario-based use-cases, and limitations to a non-user.
  • Exceptional communication and consultative skills.
  • Outstanding written and communication skills are required and will be utilized extensively
  • Understanding of common sales measurement metrics and analytics and familiarity with common sales lifecycle management tools
  • Comfortable with all forms of customer communication tools that may be used as part of the sales process
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of the Internet and SaaS industry.
  • Ability to thrive individually and as a team-player in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
