About the role:
Third-party applications are a key part of the Evernote experience, integrating with the Evernote API to give millions of users new and exciting ways to capture and access memories. The Evernote Platform team develops SDKs and supports developers working on apps, services and devices that connect with our API. We work alongside Evernote's products team to design new platform features and make them available to developers around the world.
 
We're looking for interns to join the team and contribute to an Evernote SDK. The ideal candidate will be passionate about a specific platform or development framework (e.g. iOS, Android, Ruby on Rails, Django), have a solid background in software design, and be excited to produce code will be used by thousands of app developers around the world, from students just learning programming to senior engineers at the largest software companies.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enhancements to one or more of Evernote’s SDKs.
• Ensure that SDKs comply with design patterns and best practices for the relevant platform or framework.
• Develop unit tests, sample code and documentation.

Requirements and skills:

• Currently completing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline.
• Very comfortable learning new technologies, tools and platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
