Responsibilities:
Working closely with product managers and designers to prototype, design, develop, and maintain web browser extensions and JavaScript web applications that delight millions of people.
 
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:

• Advanced JavaScript programming techniques including object oriented design patterns and well documented APIs
• Asynchronous JavaScript communications with remote services using JSON
• Experience crafting user interfaces with Javascript, HTML and CSS
• Comfortable working with an Agile/SCRUM development process
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical designs and solutions effectively
• Comfortable with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
• Able to research technical challenges and find solutions independently
• Equally comfortable working on projects as an individual or in a team
• Experience with professional software development tools including source code control systems (Git), code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing
• Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks including JQuery
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline or 5+ years relevant work experience

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience devising elegant solutions to browser compatibility issues
• Experience developing internationalized web applications
• Solid background producing consumer interfaces
• Experience using JIRA or similar issue/bug tracking systems
• Experience optimizing page load times using standard tools and techniques
