Use Edit Mode to draft, rewrite, format, and expand your notes without switching to a separate conversation. Every suggested change is highlighted, so you can review and accept edits individually or all at once.

Edit Mode can also add new elements to your notes based on your conversation or existing content. Try using it to create callout blocks, Mermaid diagrams, tables, and more.

Add an image caption in a single action, so visuals and photos are easier to find and quicker to scan at a glance.

Type "@" anywhere in a note to drop in an exact or relevant date that updates automatically. Perfect for deadlines, plans, and anything you don't want to lose track of.

Evernote can now transcribe speech from your videos, turning what's said into text you can read, search, and reuse.

AI Assistant is now available on the mobile app, including AI Prompts and AI Memory. Ask questions about your notes, generate content, research ideas, and get more done without waiting until you're back at your computer.

💡 To change the position of the AI Assistant button, go to Settings → AI Features → AI Assistant on the mobile app.

Save reusable AI workflows for the tasks you repeat most often. AI Prompts remember your preferred instructions, context, and format, so you don't have to start from scratch every time.

Run AI Prompts from a new note, selected text, or directly from a recording. Explore the library of built-in prompts, or create your own to adapt them to your specific projects and preferences.

Create a writing experience that fits the way you work by keeping your favorite formatting options within reach. The formatting options shown in the inline toolbar—the one that appears when you select text in a note—are now fully customizable.

You can favorite or un-favorite different formatting tools to remove or add them to the toolbar. If you made too many changes and want to return to the standard version, just choose “Reset to default”.

Write, or record your ideas directly in your notes by speaking instead of typing. Open the Insert or / slash command menu and select Dictation to turn your voice into editable and actionable text as you talk.

Use @ to mention notebooks, stacks, and spaces directly from a note, so related content is easier to connect and access.

Use toggle blocks to group related information and collapse sections you don't always want visible, making notes easier to navigate and maintain.

💡 All Headers are also collapsible by default. Use toggle blocks to add another layer of structure as your content grows over time.

Create flowcharts, mind maps, timelines, and more using simple text-based syntax directly in your notes. Mermaid diagrams make complex information easier to visualize and understand.

Tip: Try asking AI Assistant to create one for you, it's a lot easier than mapping it out yourself.
